This paper presents the development of a BIM library plugin for BIM authoring software, designed in accordance with international standards and best practices established by leading BIM platforms. The library incorporates the Digital Product Passport (DPP), recognized by the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) as a fundamental tool in facilitating the transition to a Circular Economy.

By providing standardized data on product materials, components, and lifecycle attributes, the DPP enhances transparency and informed decision-making. The proposed plugin enables designers to Visualize, compare, and integrate DPP data within BIM models, thereby fostering sustainable design practices and advancing Circular Economy principles.
