Pedro Monjardino Brito do Rio holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico-Universidade de Lisboa (IST-UL). He completed his Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 2024 at IST-UL. The MSc thesis that he researched on was part of the LASTTS project, which was focused on the use of Laser Cut Technology on the joints’ reinforcement of a 3D tubular CHS steel truss on the structural sector. He is capable of conducting experimental tests and to use numerical modelling softwares.
